Yoga Nag is the alter ego of me, Daisy Whittemore, a yoga teacher (E-RYT), who finally found my way to a daily yoga practice by promising myself just one pose a day. Slowly, one day at a time, my home practice was born. And it changed my life. I started talking, writing, and teaching about my experience. I started NAGGING friends, students, and even strangers to bring yoga into their daily lives, one pose at a time.

Now, as this body ages, this mind continues to learn, and my practice grows up, I still believe in yoga most days…..but given the explosion of yoga challenges and #yogaeverydamnday on Instagram, I feel a growing desire to slow it all down a LOT. I am working to clarify what I mean by daily yoga (eg, I don’t mean asana and chaturangas every damn day for all) and get more specific about finding pause, creating mindful practices, and facilitating healthy movement in your life and your yoga. (I also lost my YogaNag handle on Instagram [which is another story], but it feels like it is really time to evolve a bit.) Of course, I am still teaching yoga, publicly (see my schedule) and working with people one on one.
